Oculus Rift - Virtual Reality Reborn
A childhood dream of mine has become a reality - functional, immersive and fluid virtual reality. The Oculus Rift is hands down the most impressive piece of gaming/computer technology that I have ever experienced.
I was very fortunate to meet up with Ben Kuchera of Penny Arcade whilst he was in Melbourne for PAXAus in 2013. Being the gentleman that he is, Ben invited me to try out his Rift DEV kit that he brought with him for the convention. My immediate reponse to trying out the device can be viewed in the video on the right. Clearly, this thing is a game and life changer.
So what are the potential benefits in general and special education?
